ModNation Racers for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

First off this game is addicting. I meant to just pop it in for a few minutes and do a few races....4 hours later I had to finally make myself turn the system off and go to sleep. If you like kart racing games and you like to get creative with your driver and kart then this game is for you. It has it all, there are tons of different styles you can come up with for your driver (Mod) and your kart...plus don’t forget the ability to create your own track! I've heard this game compared to Mario Kart more times than I care to keep track of and all I have to say is Mario Kart's got nothing on Modnation Racers! The graphics and audio are great and the controls are smooth. I just need a little more practice on my drifting. The online play is great too; you have a choice between a casual race atmosphere and XP earning potential. The career is a little on the short side with 25 tracks, but this isn't a solo playing career type of game, at least for me. I'll spend the majority of my time in create mode and online races.
