Not a typical game

This one isn't a typical first person game. And that's actually a good thing in my opinion. The story isn't deep, but it's interesting. The level design is solid. And while combat is frustrating at times, it's not the focus of the game. This isn't a first person shooter after all.
No, what sets this one apart from everything else out there is it's core game mechanic. It's a first person parkour game. While combat is a weak point, the rest of the game is a thing of beauty. Few things in gaming are as satisfying as when you seamlessly chain various jumps, tucks, rolls, and rebounds to rapidly navigate a level.
The focus on athletic ability and timing even extends to boss fights. You'll find you aren't trading punches with bosses, you're trying to evade or counter a single devastating attack. However it's not all puppies and roses. It can be easy to miss a vital detail, allowing the enemies to catch up and turn you into swiss cheese.
I have a friend who gets motion sickness just watching the game being played, let alone playing it himself. Due to the rapid turns and reversals you'll frequently be preforming it can be nauseating for those prone to such things. So that's another thing to keep in mind.
Worth at least downloading the demo. If you enjoy that, rent the game. Maybe even buy it. While the story doesn't provide much reason to replay it, the game it's self is fun.
