The main thing that comes to my mind about this game is how refreshing this is, It has never been done before, the controls are well mapped out, the guns are fun when you steal them, there is elements of Splinter Cell, and Tomb Raider, And a chase scene from the Bourne Movies. Once you play through the main game, it is strange for me to replay the game, but now I know where to go, so I am flying around and it ROCKS!

Worth the rent...NOT TO BUY!

Seriously, if you don't 'get' this game in the first hour, you will hate the following eight to twelve hours it has to offer. It's simply that sort of game.
If you've always sucked at platfomers, you will hate this game.

That said, there's a lot of talk about this title being madly innovative. I beg to differ. I feel it's more alike a platformer on steroids. A lot of jumping and timing. But what really sells this timely genre this time around is its wonderfully done first-person animations. For you seriously can almost 'feel' the sense of motions the main character faith utilizes. From jumps meters into the air and the last second and inch grab of a ledge before falling stories below. If innovation is anywhere to be found, it's in its sense of motion and beautifully distinctive minimalist visuals. yet i wouldn't call it a turly new ground-breaking gameplay.

Once you get the swing of things it's terribly gratifying producing the gymnastics this game has to offer. There are some moments of mild frustration in regards to collision detection, however they're few enough to ignore. There's some crit that often you have no idea where to go and the frustration that feeling produces. I find that very weird considering: 1. holding the button B turns you automatically to your goal and 2. the game is very much a puzzle binder as say Portal is. Of course, not as close to the degree of difficulty Portal was, but alas you do have to do some thinking of how to get from point to point. Which personally i love for the simple fact it masks the linear nature of the title. Much of it is common sense.

The story is ok. Pretty much a dead 5. But the experience more than supports it. Mos-def worth a rental. Again, get ready to use your head and and to use it fast.

take away from what would have been a 9.5 this game has so much potential I can't wait to see a sequel (which has been confirmed) I have my fingers crossed that they'll do it right!
