Dissapointing

I had heard good things. I was excited. I rented the game, and that's where the good part of the story ends. As much as I tried not to be dissapointed... as much as I tried to get into this game, the controls just wouldnt let it happen. Yes this game is full of Metroidy goodness that you would expect from a Retro Studios title, but the lackluster controls will leave you frustrated more times than not. Aiming is clumsy, as well as locking on. I have played Prime, and Echoes, with 100% completion. I love motion sensor controls. Just getting that out there. It's just that, well , they don't translate well to this game. Maybe Retro should have spent a little more time on gameplay and a little less time on seeing how far they could compress textures to add more shiny to the graphics.
