This is in my opinion, the best collection of games ever to be released in one title. The collection includes: MGS 2 Sons of Liberty, MGS 3 Snake Eater, MGS Peace Walker, and two unlockable titles, including the original Metal Gear and it's sequel Metal Gear:Solid Snake. A total of five games in one collection. This is one of the best game series of all time, and never seems to get old. The replayability of these titles are amazing. With new game options which allow you to keep items/weapons from previous playthroughs, and extra missions including VR Training missions which can be played with a number of different characters including Ninja Raiden! There are also side missions in MGS 2 Sons of Liberty called Snake-Tales, which are played using Solid Snake instead of Raiden. Bottom line, this is a must have title. 10 out of 10!

I'm going to start off by saying that this is the first time that I've played a MGS game and I have to say that I'm impressed and dissapointed that I've been missing out on such a good series. The collection consists of MGS 2, 3, and Peace Walker.
The graphics look as they did in the respective years that the games were released; 2001, 2004, 2010 and they are terrible, bad, and ok respectively.
The games play out as a thrid person stealth shooter and aside from peace walker require the player to actually play steathly in order to survive. In Peace Walkter the shooting mechanics are updated allowing the player to go guns blazing should they desire.
The story in MGS is amazing and in order to understand what is happening I recommend playing 3, Peace Walker, and then 2.
The one gripe that I have with the series is that in MGS 2 the camera is fixed and while there is a radar it still completely destroyed the game for me and I was unable to continue halfway through.
This is a good rent for anyone interested in the story or stealth games ,but due to the fact that there is little replayability I can't really recommend buying it unless you simply like it that much.
