The game is better than a "1" but...

I didn't bother finishing it, and does any game I quit in disgust deserve a better ranking?
I'm not going to give a long review here. I'll just say the game is the best game ever... from 2001. That says it all, but I'll expand on it breifly to say what made me actually quit.
The save system. The game actually straight out lies to you and tells you that you can save anywhere you want. But those "saves" don't do anything... at all. If you save the game 5 minutes or 3 hours into a level, when you "load" your game again... you start at the beginning of the last level you started, completely unchanged. Hello 2001!
I hated this (like so many things about this game from yester-year) but put up with it until the game failed to save, even after I finished a level. It wanted me to play a whole level over again. even though I saved when it promped me to, after a boss fight. I just said "no" and sent the game back.
Oh, btw that boss fights are the most boring thing in video games ever. Not hard, or challenging. Just boring.
<spoilers>The first one hides, making you spend a long time just trying to find her. BORING. The second one just flies around and you have to spend forever trying to find her. BORING. The third one (last one I fought before quitting when I realized I would have to fight him again) combines the strategies of the first two bosses. She runs away from you (on a very big map) and THEN hides. EXTRA BORING.
