What you've come to expect, but not much else.

Megaman Zero 4 was a decent game, what isn't to like about hacking away at mavericks with sabers? So while it isn't any worse than Megaman Zero 3, it isn't any better, either. The Cyber Elf system is a bit different, and easier to manage, but essentially the same. They also introduce item synthesis, but with a limited number of parts and few clues as to how to make them, it doesn't amount to much. (No ultimate parts, either, which is a let-down for upgrade junkies like me.) The "Zero Knuckle" allows you to rip parts off your enemies, which is useful on occasion, but you're usually better off sticking to your Saber or Buster.
The plot is decent, for a Megaman game. Not as good as Zero 3, but then again, Zero 3 had a pretty cool plot, so that's not a fair comparison. It does have some replay value, with unlockable difficulty and mini-games. So, a nice game if you're looking for some classic side-scrolling Megaman, but don't expect anything out of the ordinary.
