Fun and unique for a remake

I really enjoyed this seeing as the first Mega Man is perhaps the hardest Mega Man I've ever played. The redesign took the difficulty down lots, and the improved graphics and level design made it feel more like an original title than a remake.

I was glad to see they made it a complete game, providing the missing 2 robot bosses to the original 6. It's also a great idea to be able to play as boss robots. The only flaw I found was that the replay-ability dwindled quickly as you start the game over playing as a boss you've previously unlocked. It's probably fine if you pace it out over time, but I tried to blast through all the characters within a week's time, which was overkill in hindsight.

Overall this is a great game worth playing.

Mega Man (megaman, Megaman, MegaMan, ect.) powerd up is one of the more interesting megaman games I've played. at first i thought it was just a remake of the origional megaman with a chiby apearence and 8 bosses but i was pleasantly surpriesed. it has new layoutes of the stages, you can play as the bosses, you can create your own leveles, and you can unlock special charecaters through downloads or chalenges. one of the only problems I've faced is ther being to litle weapon energy

I wasn't sure how I'd like this remake, but after just 5 minutes I was sold. Not only do you get redesigned levels, which still feel familiar, you get to play as the robots you defeated. So now you can play as Gutsman, Iceman, Bombman, Fireman, Cutman, Elecman, and the 2 NEW characters for this game, Oilman, and Time Man. This adds a level of difficulty to change the pace a bit. The challenge stages offer more play value, as well as the "design your own" with it's downloadable content.

The voices are funny, but a bit repetitive, but it doesn't take away from the action.

Controls are smooth, and the action is there. If you're a Megaman fan as I am, this is a must play. I'm off to buy it now. Can we have MegaMan 2-6 like this now?
