Mega Man returns to the handheld cyber-war with Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Protoman and Team Colonel! Play as Mega Man, Lan, or one of their friends as they battle to liberate the Network. Team Protoman features a different set of enemies, characters, souls, and battle chips. Free each Nebula controlled area and acquire new allies and their abilities. Unite with a "dark chip" using the new "Chaos Union" system. Acquire up to six Navi comrades and six souls per game.

I enjoyed the first three installments of the Mega Man Battle Network series, but the franchise seems to have gone downhill after that.
