Medal of Honor Review

I was really looking forward to this game and my thoughts were that I would keep it after I played it for a discounted price. However as we speak it is on its way back to Gamefly...a huge disappointment. First I'll start with the pros: the game has excellent sound quality. I have a Bose surround system and I almost when crazy with how realistic the bullets wizzing by and the explosions made the game. I also enjoyed the speech and radio transmissions by the characters in the game. They used correct terminology and everything which also made it very realistic.
Now for the cons: this game was supposed to have improved graphics and more realistic ones. But I really hate the way some of the objects looked in the game. I mean really the AC-130 that was set on station looked huge and that is not realistic at all. A plane flying at probably 10,000 feet cannot be that big. I also thought the storyline was extremely short. I dont know if the developers just ran out of time or slacked off but I was almost surprised at how quickly the storyline ended. Almost abruptly!
Sure this game is good to play throught once and and all just to get the thrill of the campaign but I would not recommend you buy. The multiplayer just isn't worth it.

Good

Good Story, only "ok" Multiplayer

The graphics and the game play are exceptional in this game. Good story line, great feel from the weapons, great rides (especially the three wheeler :-)
all around "great single player" game. The multiplayer however was very confusing to me. I could not tell the guys on my team from the enemy and kept getting shot by running into the the opposing guys. I got the little exclamation points on top of the head, but they are the same color.... at least in call of duty you can distinguish easily under fire by the color of the call sign.. i dont know, it was frustrating and not fun.
Maybe if "Call of Duty" was not around, it would prob be the "game to play" online. But with COD gameplay which this game got "close but not there"... what's the point???
Again, play it for the single player mode, which rocks and easily a game to play over and over in single player mode and still enjoy it and be challenging.
