Good board design, slight weapon upgrades, trying to land right is not fun. You will die (alot and often). Looks good and sounds great with 5.1 surround. Not horrible by far but also not a keeper. Call of duty 4 has the win over this FPS.
It really felt the same as the Call of Duty games. One of the main differences is that in every mission you're jumping out of a plane instead of starting on the ground. The other is that the game play itself seemed kinda sluggish. I did, however, like the how you were able to increase your skill with each individual weapon you came across and unlock bonuses for them. That gets old kinda quick though. All-in-all it was an ok game to pass the time, but nothing special at all.
There is a lot to like about this game. The gameplay is smooth and fast paced, trench battles are challenging, and buildings are surprisingly deep (tall too). My favorite aspects of this game are sniping, especially from tall structures, and parachuting into battle. Personally, I'd rather play Airborne than COD 4. If you are looking for a good FPS WW2 game, it delivers.
