Game Description

This 3D update of a 2D arcade classic tells the tale of Maximo, a noble knight who returns from the battlefield to find his kingdom in shambles. Players must help Maximo save the kingdom, kill the bad guys, and rescue a beautiful princess. This action-platform game boasts robust multi-level gameplay delivered with a good dose of humor. Although most of the initial action consists of running and jumping, Maximo eventually acquires weapons, armor, and magic. A diverse array of detailed levels and quirky animations help give this game an amusing "cartoony" appearance.

This was based on a addictive yet frustrating 2-D game called Ghosts and Golbins in the 80's. Fast forward to a new time and a 3-D upgrade and you've got an instant classic.
