I received MP3 from my rental list the day of release, which was very nice being it usually takes 2-3 days from the date shipped on the gameQ. The downfall was in the 2nd disc. Brand new game disc unreadable, not a xbox360 disc it says lol. It failed to give me the achieve for beating the game on hard and medium. Takes about 10-20 disc tray open and closings and ONLY level 8 will finally spin the disc and thats how i got to experience the 2nd disc. I refrained from sending the disc back through shipping problems because of the low availability. Otherwise the game was great, 8 out of 10. If only they would have had one level with the baby crying in pitch black walking on a glowing line. gamertag: SplitHeadlesBum

Max Payne 3

I have played both the first and second games in the series and it was awesome going into the third game. It reignited my passion for these games immediately. Like many recent games from Rockstar, Max Payne 3 is top notch in terms of story-telling and animations. The graphics are great, especially how they redesigned Max. Much more emotion in his face then ever seen before in the series and this brings me to the amazing cutscenes this game has. They have the quality of an HBO series and the story really is twisted, staying true to the series. The transition from cutscene to gameplay is completely seamless and I would love to see this in more games. Although the graphics are great, the Animations are what really make this game stand out. As far as I know it uses same the Animation engine as RDR and GTA4 but it is noticeably much more refined. Characters move with weight and complete believability and react super realistically with the environment and other characters. I even saw a few characters actually trip over them selves and take a spill. The bullet time mechanics just show off the animations even more as Max drives and shoots with his legs making believable movements from the moment he jump dives to when he hits the ground, this game makes nearly every moment feel epic.
I always want a challenge and Normal never seems to do it for me anymore so I played the game all the way through on Hard the first time, and man it was difficult. Some parts where Max is overwhelming outnumbered by Brazilian SWAT teams made it feel like complete luck when I finally progressed onto the next part. However it did make it feel that much more visceral as you overcome those overwhelming odds and gaining further ground in the singleplayer. Multiplayer is pretty insane and there is a lot more to it than meets the eye and I suspect it will take a lot of time and patience to really see how fleshed out it can be. This game was just amazing, well done Rockstar. GTA5 cant come soon enough
