Let me 1st say that I actually enjoyed Enter the Matrix, despite what many critics and others said. It had its flaws, but was a fun game. Now forget all about that game. Act as if it never came out. Now there is path of Neo. This is the Matrix game as it should be! This game is superb. Just about every great battle from the trilogy is in this game, and you live it all in the palm of your hands. You play as Neo this time as the title suggests, but you don't start out as "The One" so don't expect to be able to do all the cool moves we all love Neo for right off rip. Just like in the movies, he progresses over time. As the game goes on, you learn new abilities and moves, like wall running, slowing down bullets, and eventually stopping bullets in mid-air! As you progress you're trying to figure out what exactly is going on, just as Neo is in the movies. Cut scenes from the movies adds great symmetry to the game. Scenes flow from real movie footage to in game footage with ease. Getting the moves down can be tricky at first, but once you get it down, its much more rewarding than just the random button mashing of that "other" Matrix game.
All in all, if you were even remotely entertained by the movies, than you will love this game! My only negative thing I can say about this game is that its relatively short. I beat it in less than a week, and I only played it like an hour or two a day. But good thing there is Gamefly, so go ahead and rent it! You won't be disappointed.
I give The Matrix: Path of Neo 9 out of 10!
