Nintendo has to get their own great games

One of the biggest problems the Wii had was getting hardcore gamers to play it because most games on the Wii were aimed for casual gamers.
They are trying to rectify that problem by putting more games that the avid gamer wants to play.
Problem: those games came out on the other systems quite some time ago. For example: Mass Effect 3.
It’s no doubt that this is one of the best games of the year when it came out on the PS3/ Xbox 360 on March 5, 2012. It blended together a great shooter with a great story about an invading army of machines that threaten all biological life in the galaxy.
But the WiiU version came out more than 8 months afterwards. (I know, this review appears almost 3 months after that, but I’ve been busy with other WiiU games).
Fans of the game have already played the PS3/X Box 360 version have little reason to hand over another $60 for this version (they say they added more content to the game, but they don’t specify what that content it, and I haven’t noticed anything new while playing the game).
And those who haven’t played the earlier version might get it for less than $60 today. So why pay full price for that “added content” – whatever that content is.
Still, this game is fun to play and I enjoyed every moment, every cut scene, every battle, and every session of weapon/character/armor upgrade.
But Nintendo really thins out the audience for Mass Effect 3: Special Edition – those of us who haven’t played the earlier version, and who can’t (or won’t) get the earlier version. It’s not worth another $60 to purchase. RENT IT.
