Controls are lame, online play is lame ( nothing be cheese online) Basically its who can drain who the fastest now. no skill. Same moves for every character. Looks great but game is ruined with dumb controls. You never know if the move you want is going to come out since each button does multiple things depending on how you rotate the control.

All in All rent it and save your money. Play with your friend at home avoid online play.

not a bad game, but missing alot of charecters. i think there is about 30 and in mvc2 there are 54. they shouldve started with 54 and build if you ask me. its fun for the first 2 days and after that i stoped playing it. shoot i already sent it back you guys should get it soon. besides that its not bad but it is def not worth 60. id say more 40 and thats still pushing it more less 25-30 bucks. but sure not worth 60 for those who want to buy this game. if it had more ppl then yes maybe it would go for that amount.

After 10 years I, like every other fan, was looking forward to this installment. I was however let down. The 3D character modeling on the 2D plane was very pretty, but that's pretty much it. The button configuration left a lot to be desired. On the final battle stage, it's hard enough fighting one person, let alone two at the same time (whoever thought up that idea wasn't thinking of player frustration). It is nice that each individual character has their own ending; but to take the cheap way out and do it comic book style? 10 years of waiting and the company couldn't do CG animated endings, or even traditional animated endings? I was very much let down.
