To someone not familiar with this series or this type of game, I found the controls to be an extremely high barrier to entry. Right away I'm supposed to be able to fluently control 4 superheroes, their powers, and their upgrades with absolutely zilch in the way of a learning curve or any real tutorial. Because of this I was relegated to just pounding buttons instead of making use of any of the character's powers. When I heard that this game's story was based on the Marvel Civil War storyline, I went and bought the trade paperback to read it. Upon playing the game, I found myself more interested in reading the comics. I mailed it back the same day I got it.

Everyone has been saying that it is not worth a buy and I have to agree. I loved all of the games starting with the first legends game. his one has so of the worse graphics out of all of them. The cut scenes are horrible I would stay away from this one unless you love this seris or love marvel.

I hated this game when I first played it but it kinda grew on me. The different possibilities for teams and the fact that it takes awhile to unlock some of the cooler heroes makes for a decent replayability.
The story line is kinda weak and it is messed up that eventually you can't play with some characters together but that forces you to explore the depth of the other characters which is actually kinda cool too.
