While the game was fun over all. I found that I rarely changed my heros out for new ones, because there wasn't really any point in changing. The mechanics were simple to use and allowed me to breeze through the game in a few short days. I thought about redoing the story and making different decisions, but the thought of going through the boring grind all over again was enough to make me just mail back the game. There was no point in finding the hidden heros because, like I've said, they were mostly the same. Sure it would have been cool to see their unique powers, but other than that there was no incentive.
Rent, enjoy for a few days, and then ship it back because you'll never play through it again. Too much grind without any reward.

My Hubby and I were anticipating this game all year since it is a non sports multi-player game that i can play well. Sorry to say though that both of us were very disappointed by the whole game.
It can't even compare to the first Ultimate Alliance, because there was so much missing. To me Story line was so lack luster, I understood it but come on so many choices and marvel chose that. Limited Costume and Power Selection. I at least thought they would have made it like they did X-men Legends 2 where you could assign various powers to a slot rather than getting stuck with one that doesn't do much help. To add compared to the last game the majority of the characters got there powers downgraded to bull.
The only good thing this game had going for it in my honest opinion is the fusion combos.
