over all the game was no let down lots of action and plenty of stuff to unlock and find. though the views is horrific and sometimes cant find your charcter dont get discouraged the game will still keep you button massing for hours. with two side two the story makes a little since that you will put in some extra game time over all one and a half thumbs up
After two patches, Ultimate Alliance 2 is still filled with game-ruining crashes and glitches. My PS3 has locked up while loading menus or in the middle of cut-scenes, and in-game events that are needed to progress through the story sometimes fail to trigger, forcing the player to load their last save.
Other than the crashes, the game is moderately fun but I found it to be shorter than it's predecessor. I was particularly disappointed in the lack of unlockable costumes; only one per character this time around, though future paid DLC may change this.
Actually I was quite pleased with this title. It's got a wide variety of combat and character options. Messing around to experiment with all the different fusions was a blast. The story is pretty enthralling as well. I loved that there are two totally different ways to play the campaign based on your decisions. The replay value, however isn't too high. There's Online Co-op but after you complete the game twice and unlock all the characters, there really isn't anything new to experience. If you don't mind, then you'll love it. Me? Well I only buy games that I can play over and over again and not get sick of. This one I would get sick of after a month or so. I'm half way through the story on my second time just to see the otherside of how things work and play with all the new characters I unlocked. But after that I'm returning it.
