This is one of my favorite handheld games ever. To keep it short, if you are not a HUGE fan of marvel comics and characters, you'll see this as a decent 3d fighter. You will not find a ton of replay value, and odds are you will get bored after you unlock all the available characters. On the other hand, if you ARE a fan of the marvel universe (as I am) then this game will own your life. All of the greats are in this game - from venom, to wolverine, to daredevil, human torch, and even magneto (to name a few), and all of them have some signature moves straight from the books. The fighting system is decent, it isnt the greatest, but it works well even though a lot of times you'll land a punch that is not possible under any circumstances, even for super heroes. The unlockables are cool and add some replay value after you've unlocked all the characters - the only gripe I have is the addition of the new characters, the imperfects. IMPERFECT is a good name for them because theyre all stupid as heck. They feel like recycled versions of decent heroes, and I would have been a lot happier if maybe the SINISTER SIX or the BROTHERHOOD (from XMEN) had been included instead. I do enjoy punching their faces in with the decent characters, but still - they have no business among greats like venom and spidey. B + for fans, C for people who dont like comics but do like fighting games.
