Excellent

Pretty good if you like platformers and puzzles...

Pretty good if you like Mario, Donkey Kong, platformers and/or puzzles... that's how I'd sum it up.

I loved the sounds, especially Mario's phrases. One reviewer said he talked to much. I personally think its stupid mario never talks.

"Come back here, stupid-a monkee!"

is a personal favorite of mine.

Gameplay:

The platforming is solid, no skidding when you jump, unlike in New Super Mario Bros for DS.

Negatives:

Climbing/dropping from vines was extremely frustrating, for me at least.

This game is pretty cool, but I didn't think it had enough levels. I also thought that the storyline was weak. Saving a bunch of toys from Donkey Kong sounds like a kindergarten roleplay idea. I also thought that MARIO TALKED WAY TOO MUCH!!! This is the most I've ever heard Mario talk, and IT'S ONLY A GBA!!! All I gotta say is, Nintendo, why didn't you save the more "audible" side of Mario for a wii or gamecube game?
