I liked the fact that they added some variety to the game. They change the objective of the game from just getting stars to being the last to make up the mountain, or have the most houses on the block etc.
As for the game play, this is a very fun and interactive game. The boards are creative and most of the mini-games are pretty entertaining. The only problem I noticed was the lack of variety in going solo. You can easy play everything in the game within a few days making a good but relatively short experience.

They should have stuck closer to the ds versions formula because this one falls far short in both fun and content. Some of the features aren't even unlockable without multiplayer or streetpass. There aren't even as many mini games let alone game boards as the ds had. The worst part is that all of the boards are short and depend more on chance than strategy because of this they didn't even include the ablity to save midgame. If they used all of the memory on graphics instead it was a complete waste, the ds version looked as good in it's own way, if not better. It's worth a rental but has no staying power and is pretty boring after you've tried everything once.
