A Wii Classic

This game completes the amazing Mario Trilogy of Super Strikers Charged, Smash Brothers Brawl, and now Mario Kart. These three games alone are reason enough to buy a Wii. Mario Kart Wii does a great job of blending the old with the new, combining new and classic tracks.
Almost every aspect of this game is fantastic. The Wii wheel gives you a fantastic experience, but even if you can't stand it, you can switch up to the nunchuk, a classic, or Gamecube controller. Thus, anyone can master this game, even if they aren't comfortable with the Wii platform. Racing against the computer is great fun, as is racing against friends. The online play is fantastic, the best on the Wii so far.
My only complaint is battle mode. I was disappointed that classic three balloon battles are not an option. Instead, they have timed battles. They still use balloons, but they don't really mean anything. The array of battle modes on Double Dash was superior to the Wii version. This complaint, however, was not important enough for me to rate it anything less than a 9. The rest of the game is simply too good to rate it any lower.
