Great game but controls are lacking

Title says it all. The game is fun and has everything that any Mario lover has come to expect from the franchise. But the stylus controls are just awkward. You can play the basic game without the stylus. You can run, dribble, pass, shoot, steal, and block with the normal DS buttons, but you cannot pull off any of the charge moves or super abilities without it.
I actually enjoyed the game. It was much better than i expected, but the awkward stylus controls kinda ruin the fun.
