The game performs well and aside from putting spin on the ball, the golfing mechanics are solid, but overall there's just not enough game or explanation. Four courses and a complicated hub really hurt the experience for me. Perhaps introducing players through a linear level system or removing a level hub and having the choices be part of a select screen would be more appropriate. I honestly was never sure if I was missing something more or if that was the entire game.
The online mode is neat and golfing with your friends is enjoyable, but the solo experience was both clunky and confusing.
Love Mario Golf, but not so much World Tour.

mario golf is fun but here are some pointers the good side is that it's enjoyable and challenging the down side it's not like the N64 version of it where you unlock courses by playing the golf courses you havta unlock them by playing the championship i wish you all good luck in it so i give mario golf 5 hole in ones out of 5
I was excited for this game, but there's just not much there. After playing the same course four times (once in versus mode, once to establish handicap, once to win handicap tournament by ten strokes, once to win course championship by same margin), I just wasn't interested anymore.
I have several other golf games I'd rather be playing, including Toadstool Tour on the Gamecube.
