It's not an action-adventure, it's a mediocre RPG.

I rented this one because it's labeled "Action Adventure" and the screenshots show some classic Mario action (or so I thought). Really, it's a slow-paced RPG title minus the epic storyline, character development, and strategy elements.

If you enjoyed the Mario RPG games, you'll be only slightly disappointed with this one - it features lots of interesting bad guys to fight and some funny dialog, but serves up a less-interesting world to adventure in than you're probably expecting.

The best game for DS yet! Being mario, luigi,& even Bowser is just cool.

All of the mario RPGs have had one main thing going for them, they have the funniest storys of any rpg.
The characters are treated with such love, you will laugh at nearly every line of dialog.
It starts of a simple rpg, never really gets too complex. Its all in the timeing for this game since nearly all enemy attacks can be countered.
Its really just about the pure distilled fun, that the mario games have allways achieved.
A must play! Get it now!
