When a crucial figure in a drug lord's prosecution is assassinated, the Texas Rangers put one of their best men on the case. Stephen Herek (Rock Star, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure) directs this comedy about protecting impossible witnesses. Lt. Roland Sharp (Tommy Lee Jones) is assigned to the sole witnesses to the murder - a group of bickering University of Texas cheerleaders! When gunmen start trying to kill off the girls, Lt. Sharp must try to live with the cheerleaders to protect them. With the help of former cheerleader Percy (Cedric the Entertainer), this hardnosed Ranger poses as the Assistant Cheering Coach, and comes up against the unruly girls - getting in touch with his feminine side while trying to break the case!
