This game is full of flaws. I am a baseball fanatic, and I have yet to find a baseball game that I really like since MLB Live 2001. It seems to me that the people at 2K sports didn’t put much testing time into baseball games. I think they worry too much about graphics, achievements and depth. But since I like baseball so much, I kind of got use to the flaws and it was an ok game. I guess I just excepted the fact that sometimes your out fielders will just let the ball go through there mitt, or that your first baseman will stand a couple feet off of the bag instead of standing on it when a throw is coming. I sure hope that 2K pays a little more attention to the bugs and flaws when it comes to test time.

How does 2K manage to get worse every year?

First the graphics are average but the game suffers massive single digit framerate problems anytime a ball is hit or thrown up the first baseline.
Next the game play mainly the fielding is pathetic , routine plays by Ichiro end up as a ball to the face, players won't pick up balls on the warning track and start rolling around on the ground allowing in the park HR's.(see Utube for all the lowlights)
Hitting is way to easy aim up at an angle and make contact and hit HR's all over even with pitchers.
You can also pick off baserunners soo easy it's not even funny , play onine and guys can pick you off at second every single time even when you have no lead and know its coming.
And lastly franchise mode is completely broken in just about every way possible starting in the first season were CPU teams refuse to sign any of the free agents and then it gets worse from there.
This game is another Major League flop by 2K

Just when things started looking up last year, they went ahead and turned 2K9 into an arcade home run fest. Bummer, I had high hopes for this one.
