Major League Baseball 2K8 for PlayStation 2 Reviews by Gamers

I read lots of negative reviews on this game and from what I can see of 2K8, all the reviews are wrong. If your a fan of baseball games buy this game, play it and love it. If you want a strategy game buy THE SHOW. Don't believe the manure your reading about this game, because it is fun from the top of the first to the bottom of the ninth. The authentic ESPN baseball announcers are realistic and excellent and far from repetitive and annoying. This is the MADDEN of baseball games! It is not perfect though; the fielding is the only real glitch in the game sometimes the fielders make ridiculous errors that even the most incompetent pro would make, and to contrast that sometimes the same players will rob you of a home run by climbing up a 10 ft wall to to rob you of your dinger, which can be infuriating at times, and completely unrealistic. other than that the hitting in classic mode is familiar and easy to master unlike the Hitstick 2.0 which I could live without. Its similar to hitting in Tiger Woods PGA Tour, just not really necessary for this particular game. Other than that the game is perfect and the pitching glitch is not that big of a deal. I give this game 8-9 rating because its lots of fun!
