Horrible

Worst baseball game I've ever played

I had this game for 2 days before shipping it back.

Baseball on Atari = better
Baseball on NES = way better.

The game has horrible graphics. I wasn't even worried about what the game looked like, and this still ended up bothering me.

Pitching and hitting is on the bottom screen. Once the ball is in play you have to avert your eyes to the top screen very quickly.

Pitching was ok.

Batting was horrible. The timing did not match. You had to swing early to hit the ball.

I had a hard time getting on base during games, but during home run derby every pitch was a home run. Stupid.

I would not reccomend this game to anyone. Don't even bother trying it. I ignored reviews and thought I would try it. My mistake. You were all right.

This game is utter garbage. Terribly done. Poor graphics, lousy game play, no real options (seasons, custom players, etc). I've seen better developed games 15 years ago!!! I would recommend this game to no one. A complete waste of time. I was anxious to see this game. I played with it for about 20 minutes, and I am sending it back.

Here are the only modes you can play:

Single Game
All Star Game
Home Run Derby
Multiplayer (Friends don't let friends buy this game so that's out. No download play)
Options (only change the sound levels)

Graphics look worse than Tommy Lasorda Baseball on the Genesis.

Gameplay is awful. When was the last time you saw a game that the hitting animation let the ball pass through your bat and still hits the ball? Intellivision? Colecovision? AI is terrible, I had 4 infield hits in a row.

Please don't rent this game, it's not worth it.

No season mode, cannot change rosters. I know it's a DS game, but let me do some customizations other than changing the sound levels.
