Baseball, what words come to mind? Steroids, lawsuits, oh and Major League Baseball 2K6. As we know, Take 2 hates the Gamecube but they decide to put their baseball game on the Gamecube. After earning the third-party support license from the MLB and killing MLB Baseball, you know this year's has to be good, and it is. This game has some of the best graphics I've ever seen. And if you notice that in last year's game the players usually ran right through one another like ghosts. But this year if you run into someone, the other guy usually falls over. The announcing is pretty cool, and not annoying like Dan Stevens & Peter O' Keith form the NFL 2K series. God, we're they annoying. But besides the great graphics and cool announcing, the game really sparks at the new features. There is something called "Inside Edge" which basically tells you what kind of pitch to do and where the ball is going to be when you're batting. This is basically already unlocked cheats for the game. Then there's "Swing Stick" where you use the C stick to bat instead of the A button. You really pull back the C stick at the right moment and push the C stick forward. Therefore, this is the hardest part of the game. It's really hard to find the right moment to pull back and if you don't push forward right away, it's either a check swing or a strike. It takes about maybe 45 minutes to an hour to figure out how to use the dang thing, but don't worry, this feature can be turned off at any time. And finally, after three long years of waiting, the VIP system graces this series. For all of people who's never played any 2k sport game, the VIP is basically your profile that tells you how many games you won, your favorite team, and much more. Basically this is one of those sport games that you don't get bored with after three days. You can play this game for hours.
