Not sure what many others have said about this game, but here is what I got...

Everything I have ever looked for from a RPG. It is a fun game to play. It has a decent story, some of which instilled emotion, which isn't easy to do with a game, guess self sacrifice always gets me, hehe. It has apealing visuals. The art style was nice and colorfull. They used simple effects that work and are not overdone.

Overall this is just a really good RPG, it doesn't stand out exceptionally in any area, but gets high marks in all areas.

It uses the stylus touch screen soley to interact. This I liked. I hear some do not like this. I figure it's no real big deal. If you want to be picky about imperfections then I would say it would have been nice to have the option for stylus or buttons. And a little more variety in the combat and magic/skills would have been nice. But the story for me made up for all the little shortcommings. Anyways, it's worth the rent if you like casual RPG's.

Good, but with glitches

Magical Starsign is a cute RPG, it uses the stylus for gameplay instead of the controls which was a nice change of pace. Unfortunately this game seems to be full of glitches, which can leave you stranded. I found that many other people had similar complaints, though each glitch reported was a different glitch. Also there are times when you are asked questions throughout the game that, if answered incorrectly, will not progress and you may not be able to get them to ask again, so you'll have to start over.

Magical Starsign was kind of stupid and it made no sense at all! I thought it was strange (but funny) that the characters were named after foods. :) (Mostly funny!) I had fun watching the cutscenes. But I really didn't understand why the teacher had to go to another planet. I hated that the students were so nosey! The had their ears pressed up at the door listening to the teacher and the princible talking! Sorbet really seemed useless. That bunny was MY favorite character!!! Because if she hadn't rode away in that rocket ship then you wouldn't get to see that very funny cutscene! (HAAAAAHAAA!)........? So...I didn't really like this game too much. :(
