Mafia II for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

This game was okay. I am a little bit of a slow gameplayer so I think the story took me like 15 hours to complete. I like to walk around and get in trouble a little bit and this game doesnt offer much in that sense. Also once you beat the game there really is no second playthrough.

Here are a few things that I didn't like.

1- This game should be called Mafia 2- Driver. You spend so much time in the car its a little crazy. Enough is enough. The missions where you leave your house, go to joe's and pick him up and than drive around to the next few spots. It's just too much driving. The driving is cool but when its heavily involved in every single mission its annoying. If there was an option to take a cab to certain places I would have 100% have done that after midway point.

2- The two add ons- Joes Adventure and Jimmy's Vendetta are still 800 MS points. This game came out in 2010!!! how are the two add ons, still going to cost me $20. Its a shame but I can see it coming. More and more games are pushing for the dlc and add ons. Now the average cost of a game is closer to $80 if you want to get all of the DLC. Look for brand new games and even blockbuster hits a year from release date should be able to command the DLC, but there needs to be some type kof rule or something that when a game hits 36 months old, the dlc is 50% off...

3- Enemies were too easy. I beat the whole game and died probably 4 times. Once was from driving 110 into a building with joe in the car. If you stay in cover and wait for them to finish their clip its pretty much an auto kill every time. The last level was pretty good, but it was like they saved all the enemies for the last level. Some of the Chapters were way too easy, and not enough of a challenge. I play games to be challenged not to go through the motions and drive from one end of the map to the other just to try and get an achievement.

4- Too much story not enough killing and fighting. Cut back on the cutscenes and add
