Cheap player re-signings in franchise mode
In Franchise mode, go into player management (Highlight a player in view roster then hit A) and select Edit Player, and then information. Once in this screen you can choice to edit your player's position (if you can't it's because doing so would put you under the minimum requirements for that position). Changing the players position usually lowers his overall rating (this seems to work best with making QBs into WRs and most defensive players into DTs), which will in turn make him ask for less and accept less for resigning. Once you've signed him to a cheap contract, go back into the Information section of edit player and put him back to his original position. This also works well for trades. Find the player you wish to acquire from another team, go into his information and edit his position to make his rating go down. The team he's on will be much more willing to trade him cheap now, and once you got him you can switch him back to his original position.
High Attendence In Franchise Mode
Before playing a home game, enter the 'Owner's' menu and set your 'Advertising' as high as possible. After you play your game, return to the 'Owner's' menu and set 'Advertising' to zero, then simulate the rest of the games for that week. You will not be charged for the advertising, but your attendance will be higher. Do this before every home game to keep your attendance high without paying extra.
