The worst madden ever..... Now I know that it sounds a bit harsh, but I have owned and played ever madden since 98.... this one sucks..... No more franchise mode..... and no more unloading of players from NCAA...... Menu is confusing and slow.... Can't view any stats for other players or yearly stats for your own player..... they took so much any form the game it's sad..... Probably so they can put it back next year and we will think that it's something new.. dont buy........

A competition-driven game whether against an online friend or other opponent is the name of this game as I doubt that there are many gamers who are just trying to play a solo game. Therefore, without an online pass available because this is a rental, skip it or you'll be bored pretty quick. There are reasons to purchase this title from a store but no reason that one should rent a game that doesn't have this major component. Don't waste your time as I did.
