I was reading all the reviews for ths game before i recieved it and believing all the hype about what i read and it made me want to send ths game back right as soon as i got it.
But as you all know, you can play a franchise just like before as a coach. You control the team and all aspects and you can play both offense and defense, or you can delegate things to the computer to do like player evaluations and cuts. If you start a career as a player, then you only play when hat player is on the field, which i guess is ok if you like that sort of stuff, i personally like playing both offense and defense.
I can't believe all the people that ran this game down for not having a franchise mode before they took the time to figure it out. I feel really bad for the people that sent the game back in disgust, because there missing out on a great game.
Sure there are a few bugs, like any other game out there, but it's a great game as usual. Yes it swings more to online playing than before, but thats to be expected.
The reason i did not give this game a higher rating than a 8 is because of some of the bugs. But its still a good rent and fun to play. I might even buy it once the price goes down.
