Madden NFL 12 for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

I must say, ive not been impressed with the Madden titles on the PS3 ever since recycling my PS2 over 3 years ago. I was a HUGE fan of the Madden 10 on the PS2. When i came up on a PS3, i went out and bought the Madden 10 on PS3 and was blown away on how the game buttons, game play, and i guess the game title displays have changed for the worst. I was used to the R1 strafe and L1 swat ball that it took some time to get used to, i managed.
With Madden 12, i somewhat felt it was the best out of Madden's 10, and 11. 11 was garbage in my opinion. I really liked the tacking mechanics, makes the players and defensive controls feel solid. Again comparing to PS2 versions, setting audibles on defense and offense, to my opinion, was weak. defensive hot routes like blitzing, qb spies... etc. didnt work with game controls prior to cpu qb hiking.
A GREAT feature to Madden 12 is the custom playbooks! After browsing and choosing all plays on offense and defense, i felt unstoppable, or at least had a play to counter the opposition. HUGE HUGE points for that!
The only con about this game, in my opinion, is that u cant change the control buttons. Like how u can on NCAA 11, speed burst, strafe, swat... If Madden12 had this feature, it would have a stronger rating.
