This game has excellent graphics and game play! The only thing I didnt like about it was, that you have to pay extra $ to EA in order to play it on xbox live!! That was really a heart breaker!!! But all in all its the best madden game yet!!!

I have been a die hard Madden fan since Madden was on the original PlayStation in the mid to late 90's. (I don't remember when it came to PS1.) That being said this is by far the most realistic game that the Madden series has ever released, but this is yet another step in the wrong direction as far as game play goes for me at least. Where are the days of the sprint button, stiff arm, and the ability to not bounce off of defenders and dance in place for one second. The characters are 100% the best they have ever made, but the game play just keeps going to wrong direction. I will take to early 2000's Madden's any day over this new polished but awkwardly played out versions. It got a 7 from me because it is terrific in the aspect of character realism and options, but it lacks physics realism and replay value for me. I got the 1000G and will never look at this one again. Thanks for reading.

So far I like it, the graphics are good, controls are ok, except the pre snap controls are a little slow and clunky. I love the game presentation, except I think they should add a mini half time show that goes over the game statistics. Franchise mode is much improved, but I still dont like the way they keep track of team income/expenses. I found a problem with the custom playbooks too, when you choose a playbook to start from such as run and gun, and want to add or delete plays, you will find that the plays dont match. I expected to be able to just modify the run and gun playbook but when you select run and gun in the custom playbook screen youl find that many of the plays dont match, even formations are wrong. wish they would fix that. the new cut days and rookie scouting is good. overall its worth buying but ea has much too improve as usual.
