Horrible

Freezing Problems Anyone?

I have always been a fan of the Madden franchise but the latest installment has some pretty serious flaws that cannot be ignored.

I started a franchise game and completed the first stage. Immediately after the game was completed, the game froze. I couldn't move the cursor and the screen was frozen but the sound was still going. I restarted. Immediately after completing the first stage in franchise mode, the game froze... rinse and repeat 2 more times and you have one angry gamer.

I thought, "Maybe its my PS3?"
Wrong.
I googled "Madden PS3 Freeze" and came up with a ton of related articles. Apparently the game has been locking up for many others in random places and some customers are trying to file lawsuit. EA has released a patch trying to correct the problem but as you can see... they have failed.

These basic freezing problems have destroyed what could be another addition to a great franchise.

Here's a thought... START TESTING YOUR GAMES EA!

this game is sooooooooooo hard i hate it the controls suck and its not very fun to play dont even bother renting this game.

Worst Madden Ever

EA is killing this once great franchise. I have played Madden for 20 years and it seems it gets worse every year. They try to keep adding new features and abilities that just don't work or translate well. The game just isn't fun to play. I bought the game and sold it 2 weeks later. I was upset because I was expecting a lot. I thought the audibles were too complicated and most of the time they didn't work. The game itself has too many glitches and bugs. When you kick a field goal, you don't even see it go through? The game crashed a few times, and I had several announces talking over each other during the game? The game design is horrible and lacks innovation. You would think that America’s biggest sports cash cow would have a flawless game, and that is why I think Madden deserves a 1. There should be a perfect NFL game in the market. I hate EA sports!
