MX vs ATV Untamed for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

For starters, I don't like racing games. Period. I actually rented MX vs. ATV: Untamed because my girlfriend saw it demoing at a store and she thought it looked cool. After playing for only 5-6 hours, I'd have to say that this game is beyond cool. I never thought I'd have so much fun on a motocross bike or an ATV. The framerate is perfect with no slowdown noticed at any time. The backdrops are incredible and beautiful. Game play is excellent and easy to pick up, even for a non-gamer like my girlfriend. Tricks are fairly easy to figure out and to pull off successfully. My favorite mode is the Free Ride, cruising around a gorgeous landscape, looking for collectibles, and joining in competitions. Maybe this game has a low average score because it doesn't match up to similar titles. I wouldn't know. For a novice racer, this is a superb game. I think it just may be the first racing title I ever buy.

I feel this game was good but not great. The graphics are pretty good although the gameplay is average. The monster trucks run on the same small course as the dunebuggies so there is just not enough room for six to race so that turns out to be a disaster. The mx is descent,up until you catch big air and it becomes nearly impossible not to case it every time. The atv is pretty fun to play but also a "case it" situation. Fun game to play and rent just don't waist the full $60.00 on it.
