Little players have taken over the Big Leagues! MLB Power Pros 2008 lets you take the field with mini versions of your favorite major leaguers. Though their bodies are smaller, the action is just as big! Choose from 10 addictive game modes, including Practice, Exhibition, and League. Go off the field and up to the front office, where you'll shape the entire franchise in Season Mode. You can experience story-based play in Success, MLB Life, or Dream Modes (where you'll live as rookies or your favorite All-Star). Or just swing for the fences in the Home Run Challenge. The 2008 edition features new defensive shifts, real-time bullpen checks, and more.

The fact that MLB Power Pros even exists for gamers to play stateside is a treat in and of itself, and for a series that has existed nearly two decades in Japan alone, it's great to finally be able to see it making it big...more

This game is kiddie and simple gameplay wise, but at the same time the season mode is too complicated to get into easily. The MLB Life mode is too hard to play as your own created player, and the Success Mode is too hard to get to the majors in and have fun doing the outside stuff, like working, g...more
