this is the best sports game i've every played. i'm not really a fan of baseball video games but after seeing this on a big screen tv at a best buy, i had to buy it. this game is definitly worth the $64 tag. sony put alot of effort into making this game and it shows beautifully. this game has so much authenticity in it, broken bats, injuries, ejections, pitching styles, realistic batting stances..etc. i especially love the fan activity. fans chanting overrated to albert pulos, playing volleyball with the beach ball. i can't believe how much of this is game is ACTUALLY like watching an live game.

In my humble opinion, this is the best sports game I've ever played, hands down. It's not just the best baseball game, which it definitely is without a doubt, it's also the best sports game by a mile. NBA2k12 is buggy trash, Madden 12 is average but could be much better, NHL12 is a great game, and MLB2k12 is OK but not anywhere even close to The Show 12. I play this game religiously and I've owned every Show since 2007 and this is the best one hands down.

It feels like you're playing with actual human beings. I create-a-player and make myself and put myself on my favorite team to play in Franchise mode and it says my full name when I come to bat, I have my own custom music that plays when I step up to the plate, and I feel like I'm stepping up to the plate at Fenway in real life. It's absolutely incredible. I wouldn't even suggest renting this game, I would suggest buying it if you're even a minor fan of baseball. I'm just at a loss for words as to how much I love this game and how realistic it is.
