I thought that this game was very solid. I've played it on my PSP for about 3 years or since the PSP first came out. This game is very very smooth for the gameplay. However the play-by-play even with the delays is still better. For those who have PSPs get this game b/c it's the best baseball game on the market. As far as the other game goes (MLB 2K8) it's not even close to MLB 08 The Show. Goes to show that the Phillies are better than the Mets as far as video game baseball goes. Sony made the right call on their coverboy for this game. If you have the game enjoy it, if not rent it.

This game has great quality for a portable baseball game. It tends to be a little confusing at first, and definatley takes a little time to get used to all the controls, but once you have those down, you begin to understand more of why they designed the game this way.

The new "Road to the show" feature is actually a great idea, just needs refined a little.

Graphics for the main characters are great, but not so mutch for the crowd & off field items.

Play on!!

Good game that is perfect for the PSP. The Road to the Show feature gives it a leg up over its Major League Baseball 2k8 counterpart. However, an inclusion of a real franchise mode would have been nice with more in depth features that resemble the PS2/PS3 version. Overall the game plays great and has a nice in game save feature which is perfect for on the go gaming.
