The graphics are very well done for this game. The game play on the other hand lacks a lot. Especially for anyone trying to compare it against Ace Combat X.
This as my title states, this is an arcade game not a simulation so don't expect perfect moves or reaction of the planes to be life like. Missile lock-ons are interesting as you can lock onto and destroy a plane behind you. The bad point to this is that when you are locking onto another player you're view is shifted until you fire the missile off. Also just as annoying, is that you can't change to another target when locking on. You have to waste a missile to change targets.
The biggest feature that sold me on buying this game was the fact that you can share this game with 7 other players. The bad side to this is that you can only dogfight and there's only one map available through the game share.
In single player mode the races are fun and entertaining, but unfortunately there's only so many maps in the game. Same can be said for the dogfights and challenges.
Overall, great game for only having to buy one copy to play against other players. Not so good on the maps and replay value.
