Lumines II for PSP Reviews by Gamers

I've never been particularly drawn to puzzle games until I'd read the critics reviews of Lumines II. I figured what the heck, and was definitely pleased. The first challenge mode level is deceptively calm and but can still present a challenge. More than once I found myself swearing at the screen when it changed to the next skin and my screen was half full. One complaint that I have is that you don't know when the skin is going to change....Maybe it's something I missed in the tutorial but it kinda irritated me. I can barely make it to the fourth or fifth challenge level right now. Despite that, I still find myself addicted to it and for the first time since first getting my PSP I've been making sure that it is fully charged at all times. It is definitely a great game to have no the road or when you need to tune out for a while. The music definitely helps but doesn't sound all that great without headphones on. Once you put them on, though, get ready to tune the rest of the world out. I think I may have thrown my dog across the room last night for getting in front of the screen....
