These kind of games are NOT for every one. they are repetitive and it is a challenging games that take patients. If you like games like The Sims, harvest moon, and other such simulations you will appreciate the game. since it is a survival game you spend allot of time finding food, making fires, getting drinking water and building a home for your self. the more you go on in this game the easier things get, you makes tools to kill more pray make better items so you are stronger so you can more.
the idea of this workis allot better in this cersion and uses the wii remote well

"Lost in" High Maintenance

Cooking Mama meets Robinson Crusoe in Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked.
When your cruise ship is sunk, you are left on an uncharted desert island (why can't it be an uncharted arctic island for a change?)
You soon meet up with a fellow cruise ship passenger named Lucy. Your task is to survive long enough to get off the island alive.
But the makers of this game make it very tough to do that.
It's a constant struggle to balance the needs of our twosome; finding food took so much energy that they got tired after a few days (resting at night didn't replenish all their energy).
To make matters worse, after some nights they got bad colds because the fire went out during the night. This caused them to get tired even faster.
And while I waited for them to rest, they got hungry, but I can't search for food because they are sick but they can't rest because they're too hungry. Catch 22 anyone?
It's too bad our heroes require so much maintenance; searching the island is fun, cooking meals is much like in Cooking Mama, and other mini games are very well implemented.
Maybe two player mode will help solve the problem; in one player mode, Lucy doesn't do anything except use up resources.
I say rent Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked and give it a try. But don't expect this to be a walk in the park.

I've played all the LiB games and the only good thing I can say about this game is that the Wii controls are great for this game.
The way this game was made is very frustrating:
Repetitive, tedious slow gameplay with nothing to show for your efforts.
Way more mini-games than necessary. Some absolutely unecessary and unfun.
Each and every worm and spice take up room in your bag.
Fishing is an unrewarding task.
If you want a weapon, you have to unlock it, not just possess the needed items.
Eating boar meat only gives you 25%.
I could go on and on.
