First of all, I have not bothered to finish the whole game, so I don't know much about the combat system or about a good storyline.I do know that this game is bad. The idea of being stuck on a deserted island seems appealing, but Konami made a HUGE mistake that messes up everything. The 2 characters, a boy and a girl, digest their food WAAAAYYYY too quickly and food barely fills up your stomache. I mean, a good fish would make me full-but in this game 4 fish only recovers about 50% at most of your stomache! Creating fires and cooking is charming at first all of them implementing the touch screen, but you need to do it so many times that it soon becomes a daily chore, like washing the dishes or taking out the garbage. Also, your partner is only helpful at some puzzles that require 2 people, but other wise he/she is a complete parasite. You can always make them come with you but it's pointless. If you leave them in the cave, you'll have to leave a bottle of water behind and some food- excuse me I meant a lot of food that doesn't require cooking. Otherwise, she dies and you have yourself a GAME OVER. There is one part of this game that is charming to me though- and that is exploration. Exploration is what makes the game interesting but your increasingly decreasing energy, water, and food handicap that like a iron ball tied to your legs. also, fishing which will become a major activity to gain your food requires a spear and if you make one and use it, eventually it breaks. Then you have to search for the materials to make another one and hope you don't starve too much while looking for it. I have only played a little part of this game, so I don't know too much about it, so I can't review too much about it. I can tell you though, that at best you should rent and taht you shouldn't buy this game.
