Not quite quirky enough

Graphics look old, and dated. Soundtrack is catchy, fun and poppy, and after you collect a few tracks you like, you can make your own soundtrack to murder zombies to. Combat is simplistic, but at the same time really fun for its simplicity. There are minigames to break up the combat, and some of them are really fun. Some, less so, because they don't tell you what the new rules are. I would not even let my children be in the same room as this game, because it is VULGAR. I'm not kidding when I say this. The zombies yell obscenities the whole time. While it was very tongue-in-cheek for the first playthrough, the jokes and humor just felt contrived, like they were trying to shock me, not make me laugh. All said, this game was a nice way to spend six hours, but I wouldn't buy it.
