This game has a lot of downfalls and complaints by many people. BUT, it is short enough that you should get through it with a load of fun. The humor can sometimes be dumb, but most of the time it's hilarious. It's fun to play as well. It's short and sweet. Totally worth a rent. And of course...boobs...lol. Rent, but don't buy.
Graphics look old, and dated. Soundtrack is catchy, fun and poppy, and after you collect a few tracks you like, you can make your own soundtrack to murder zombies to. Combat is simplistic, but at the same time really fun for its simplicity. There are minigames to break up the combat, and some of them are really fun. Some, less so, because they don't tell you what the new rules are. I would not even let my children be in the same room as this game, because it is VULGAR. I'm not kidding when I say this. The zombies yell obscenities the whole time. While it was very tongue-in-cheek for the first playthrough, the jokes and humor just felt contrived, like they were trying to shock me, not make me laugh. All said, this game was a nice way to spend six hours, but I wouldn't buy it.
I rank this game pretty high on my list of games that brought something new to the video game community it’s an interesting idea. Its buffy, meets Bruce Campbell, meets High School of the Dead (a great Japanese comic series and TV adaptation). Although the game doesn't offer a whole lot in story line and is a very short game. It makes up for it in crazy boss fights, well drawn comic style graphics, and ridiculously hilarious very Japanese humor.
This game has a great replay value since it is very hard to accomplish everything the first time through. So over all I say that if you like games that are a little outside the normal this one is exactly that. It kept me entertained and I may rent it again to try to get everything I missed this time around.
