Then By All Means- Down the Loco Hole and Everybody In. (this akward opening is an allusion to the games'general trippiness).
The critics do a fine job of rehashing the unique
and wholly original sense of the games. But I think no one (not Pynchon himself) could really describe (in writing) the worlds that await in both original and sequel to LocoRoco, and oh such wonderful worlds. Until that happy-catchy tune goes sinister, and a blobby black dreadlocked baddie called Moja-Moja comes to eat you as many times as he can. (You'll see.)
I'll get back to this review in a few hours. Much to say, so little will make sense unless you have, or do play the games, and play them you should. A PSP owner without the LocoRoco Series, (there's a PS3 DL called Locoroco Correcho skip4now), is MISSING LIKE 1/4 OF THE TOTAL FUN ONE CAN HAVE ON THE PSP.
Until I return with more on the games, I pray you need no further convincing. Look, I cast aside God of War and Crisis Core in the middle, to figure out clever ways to get LocoRoco out of my 5 year old daughter's gooey hands. Don't let that fool you as far as difficulty goes, it depends on what you want to achieve in the game (hopefully more than a 5 year old who cheers upon finishing a level.) But seriously my daughter kicks butt, for what she's trying to get out of the game.
I'll explain more soon
MEANTIME- Go to your PS3 and DL the 1st game from th PS store, or rent here at good Ol'GF. Then while it's DL'ing or mailing, jump in the car or the bus or just hoof it to your nearest PSP retailer and BUY PART 2. (Call ahead). If they never heard of it and it ain't in stock, they look at you funny when you ask for it,(but who cares right? Their loss.)! If no retailers near you have it,(my area was having problems keeping them in stock this 1st week), rent it here and check the killer price at GFly. At level 3 it's "keep it" for 16 bucks. Take away the $5 coupon I have, and it's only $11 bucks. I paid $20- Heck i'd pay $50
