Little Big Planet for PSP Reviews by Gamers

I haven't played LBP for PS3 so this was all new for me. I was really let down by the long load times. Between every level there's a load time, starting up the game is a load time. From turning on the system to the level select it took over 2 minutes. It would prompt you with messages and play a video introduction explaining the game every single time you started up. You can skip the video but you have to wait forever for the game to load the video and your memory.

The controls are mushy and jump doesn't work like you would expect it to. There are too many problems with being in the wrong perspective and not being able to get somewhere or falling to your death. Some of the levels are extremely difficult to accomplish and can get annoying. It's not hard in the sense that the game is hard but that the controls just don't work well enough to easily make your way through some parts.

The game is a little short and the levels people make to download aren't that great. Halfway through the game I was a little bored with it. It's a lot of the same thing over and over. It was fun for a while and a few of the later levels are interesting but it's nowhere near as good as Loco Roco.

When i got a psp this was the first game i got for it. I loved the ps3 version so i couldnt wait to have it on the go. But, it just seems too different. I can barely see sack boy. He's really pixileted, and his clothes are even worse. Plus, it unlocks everything i spent hours for, but not even the complete costumed! Anyway, my main dislike, is that sackboy has too much personality. I know that sounds stupid, but the fun of lbp is making sackboy yours. Now he's independent, having his own actions and flipping and making overky angry gestures. The gameplay is fun, but my online doesnt work for some reason...
